Letter from Italy

 

Just got a letter and a picture (above) of sincere appreciation for all of the expired coupons we sent to our adopted base in Vincenza, Itlay.

"On behalf of the military community in Vincenza, Italy, please accept our sincere appreciation for your recent coupon submission. We understand the time and commitment that you have invested in providing this service and we assure you that your efforts have not gone without gratitude or reward."

What they do is sort through all the coupons we send them and tape them weekly onto products carried in their commissary. They also hold quarterly coupon socials, where they get to pick through coupons (much like our swaps and classes). There were 45 people who came out for May, which was a record number for them.

So if you ever doubted whether or not your expired coupons were being used, doubt no longer! What an honor to be helping our men and women half way around the world!! Last month we sent out over $7,000 dollars worth of expired coupons and this month I KNOW we are sending out more than that!!!
