Winn Dixie doesn’t have a lot of great match ups, they still have great meal builders with their meat sales.

When you are buying meat at Winn Dixie, you need to know that it will always make the lowest package price for free.  So if you are buying 1 deal, 2 packages, you want them as close to the same price as possible.  Now if you buy 4, you need al 4 packages about the same.  If you don’t, the cash register will take the 2 lowest. 
For example, you get the chicken quarters.
package #1 - $8.99, #2 - $9.19, #3 - $12.44, #4 – 12.10
Our thinking is that #1 and #4 would be the free ones, because that is how we picked them out.  BUT!  The cash register will give you #1 and #2 for fee. 
Solution:  When you are buying several of the same meat deals, split them up into different transactions.  I know it is a pain, but you could be saving a significant amount of money this way.
