Using Ebates

I know I told you a bit about Ebates at our last class, so hear is the scoop that I promised you.

I just started using Ebates a few months ago and I love it.  I initially used it to get most of my subscription to ALL YOU back as a rebate and ever since then I have been hooked!

Here is how it works!

1. Sign up on Ebates here.

2. Scroll through the vendors and go shopping.

3. At the end of the quarter get a check in the mail.

 

So really that is it.  So when ever I need to buy something, like for instance, I needed to get my husband some new jeans for work.  I went to ebates, found JCPenny and went shopping.  I checked out like I normally would, because during this entire time, Ebates is tracking my shopping, when I shop through Ebates.

I signed up for Netflix through Ebates, because after my trial period, I will get $8 cash back.

I have been looking at buying a colored NOOK.  Well, I know who sells them and they all sale for the same price.  BUT if I buy it through EBATES, I can get 4% back from Barnes and Noble versus just 1% from Wal-Mart.

So now I love to shop on line even more.  And when I get that rebate check, I am sticking it in my jar!
